The Village Green is situated in the middle of the village. This is a focal point for many village functions, and provides a safe area for children to be collected from school.
The centre piece is a very old acacia tree.
Also sited on the green are the village pump, Ickleford sign, bus shelter village notice board and map board which gives details of the amenities and footpaths available to both residents and visitors
