Despite many schools being closed due to the school, Ickleford School stayed open.
It was great to see children arriving to school on sledges not long after the school had been awarded a Gold Travel Award for its work in promoting healthy ways of traveling to school.
The children enjoyed the day and were allowed on the back field to build very large snowmen and igloos. An experience they will always remember.
