“Whilst we at McMullen take our Corporate Responsibilities very seriously the pods situated at the Green Man have been a source of problems over the last two years to the Tenants and McMullen and Sons, Ltd the freeholders of this outlet.
Unfortunately not all the users of these pods treat them and the surrounding area with due care; over the past two years we have had to spend in excess of £1,000 in clearing rubbish and non recyclable debris including furniture, beds, foodstuffs, household rubbish and car parts, a situation which could not be allowed to continue. We also have had pest infestation problems and are fearful of the considerable fire hazard that this unauthorised waste presents
We are currently seeking new tenants for this site and would like to be able to offer the pub to them in its best condition and the large pile of waste goods would not be conducive to McMullen recruiting a good tenant that wants to make the Green Man part of the community and a successful business.”
