“Luton and South Bedfordshire Joint Committee Core Strategy Preferred Options” consultation began on Friday 17th April - deadline for responses 12 June 2009. The consultation can be viewed and responded online at

This affects us as there are plans to build 5,500 houses in some of Hertfordshire’s most attractive countryside.
North Herts District Council and Herfordshire County Council are totally opposed to the proposals. KEOLG (Keep East of Luton Green), is mounting a postcard campaighn and a mass leaflet drop in Luton and North Hertfordshire villages to inform residents and encourage large numbers to respond to the consultation.
