Next season Ickleford will have a new team playing in the Saracens Development league. The rules of this competition mean the team should consist of seven players under the age of 17 and four seniors. This should really help the development of the colts as they move into senior cricket. Ian Cheesman will be the captain.
Indoor nets have started at Priory School for the colts and seniors on Sundays. Any new colts would be very welcome and there will be under 11, under 13 and under 15 teams next season. Potential new colts should ring Geoff Robinson.
New senior players would also be very welcome. Anyone interested should contact Roy Izzard.
Ickleford also desperately need new tea ladies for next season, due to last year’s tea ladies leaving the area. We are happy to pay a fee and anyone interested should please telephone Geoff Robinson or Roy Izzard.
