Advice to avoid your credit/debit card being cloned

The internet is sometimes a way of credit card details being obtained by fraudsters
 - you need to check that the site uses a secure connection when processing payments.

Alternative means of obtaining details are by taking a copy of the card whilst paying for petrol etc
- be aware of what the cashier is doing.

Never tell anyone your 4-digit pin number for your credit/debit card
-always cover up the key pad as you enter your 4-digit pin number when paying for goods/services.

NEVER give out ANY information about your credit/debit cards if someone telephones YOU.

Keep an eye on bank and credit card statements
- if you see anything unusual contact your bank/credit card company immediately.
