The Bus Shelter was built in 1935 for the village by the Lord of the Manor Mr Wilfred Vere Doughty.
It is located between Upper Green and the Church and it commemorates both the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary (1935) and the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (1937).
