The group is run by local parents and it is open to anyone with a pre-school child, from small baby upwards. It is an informal group including not only mums but also dads, child minders, grandparents and other carers.
There is an activity table set up with different art and craft activities every week, such as play dough, drawing, sticking, card-making etc. As well as this there is a vast range of small and large toys for all ages, including baby gyms and activity centres, a small trampoline and a variety of ride on and push along toys. At the end of the morning the children have an opportunity to play musical instruments and join in with songs.
It is a friendly group who enjoy watching their children play together. A cup of tea or coffee and biscuits are provided as well as drinks for the children.
